Zhuhai Deer’s “May Day Labor Festival” Outdoor Activity Report from Wulin Yuan
To enrich employees’ leisure lives, strengthen communication among staff, and enhance team cohesion, the company held an outdoor “May Day” event on April 30, 2010, at the Wulin Yuan Activity Center in Zhuhai. The event was organized and coordinated by the company’s Human Resources Department, with the following program: 1. Outdoor team‑building activities: (1) Flag‑Carrying Relay; (2) Whirlwind; (3) Battlefield Showdown. 2. Mountain‑climbing competition: to improve physical fitness, foster communication and collaboration among colleagues, and experience the beauty of a green, eco‑friendly natural environment. 3. Awards ceremony: General Manager Mr. Lin Huaqing presented awards to those who achieved outstanding results in the event’s competitions.

A research delegation from Zhuhai’s medical and pharmaceutical institutions paid a visit to Deere for an inspection and study tour.
On May 31, 2010, a “Medical–Pharmaceutical–Hospital–Enterprise Cooperation Research Delegation,” jointly formed by the Zhuhai Municipal Health Bureau, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Food and Drug Administration, and the Municipal Science, Technology, Industry, Trade, and Information Bureau—along with heads of Zhuhai’s second-level and above hospitals and local disease control and health supervision agencies—conducted a joint research initiative on medical–pharmaceutical–hospital–enterprise collaboration. The aim was to build a communication bridge between Zhuhai’s healthcare institutions and pharmaceutical enterprises, fostering deeper cooperation between local pharmaceutical companies and regional medical facilities. China Symposium on Clinical Microbiology Analysis and Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing Equipment Technology
To facilitate the exchange of technical expertise and practical experience in clinical microbiological analysis and antimicrobial susceptibility testing, promote the rational use of antimicrobial agents, and enhance the level of microbial diagnostics and antibiotic stewardship in Chinese medical institutions, the China Association for Medical Device Industry convened the “Seminar on Clinical Microbiological Analysis and Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing Equipment” at the Jinma Building in Beijing on September 4, 2010. The event was attended by relevant leaders from the Ministry of Health, as well as leading domestic clinical microbiology experts, including Professor Cong Yulong, Director Guo Jian, Director Hu Jihong, Director Zhang Zheng, Director Shen Dingxia, Director Hu Yunjian, and others. Company executives Mr. Lin and Mr. Xie were invited to participate in the seminar.

The National Symposium on Bacterial Resistance Surveillance and Clinical Applications: Dier Medical Shines Brightly
From November 9 to 12, 2010, in the golden autumn of Zhuhai—when the weather was crisp and pleasant—the “Fourth National Symposium on Bacterial Resistance Surveillance and Clinical Applications,” co‑hosted by the Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine of the Chinese Medical Association, the Microbiology Group of the Laboratory Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and the Bacterial Resistance Surveillance Center of the State Food and Drug Administration, was successfully held at the Zhuhai Resort. Renowned scholars and experts from across the country gathered to strengthen bacterial resistance surveillance, enhance communication between laboratory medicine and clinical practice, and guide the rational use of antimicrobial agents, jointly discussing the current status of bacterial resistance in China and key areas of concern.
