Product Use: This buffer, in combination with carbapenem antibiotic discs (imipenem is recommended), is used for the typing of carbapenemases.
Product Advantages:
(1) Utilizes an enzyme inhibitor methodology; no solution preparation is required—simply open the cap and use.
(2) It can be used for carbapenemase typing; the assay is simple to perform, and the results are easy to interpret.
(3) Low consumption and low cost: a single carbapenemase phenotypic assay requires only about 40 μL of buffer, and one kit can support multiple assays.
