Taking a temporary break from demanding work and escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, participants admired the graceful beauty of lotus flowers and savored authentic farmhouse cuisine. In recognition of the hard work and dedication of all company employees, and to foster better communication and collaboration among staff while strengthening team building, on July 14, 2018, Deer Company organized a two-day “A Date with Nature—Shaoguan Excursion” for more than 200 employees.

At 7:40 a.m., despite the torrential downpour, everyone’s enthusiasm remained undiminished. They arrived at the assembly point on time, and at precisely 8:00 a.m., the bus carrying Dier employees set off cheerfully, amid excited laughter, bound for Shaoguan.

Led by the team leader and the tour guide, the employees were in high spirits, eagerly volunteering to perform. Along the way, laughter and cheerful chatter filled the air, and any frustration caused by the traffic jam quickly dissipated.

First stop of the event: a group photo and a visit to Yunmen Dajue Chan Temple.

Yunmen Temple was founded in 923 AD and is the birthplace of the Yunmen School, established by Master Wenyan, a seventh-generation disciple of Huineng—one of the five major Zen lineages. In 1983, Yunmen Temple was designated a National Key Monastery alongside Nanhua Temple. The temple grounds include the Xuyun Memorial Hall and a Sarira Pagoda. At the back of the mountain lies the renowned Guihua Pool, where a cascading waterfall plunges from a cliff tens of meters high into a deep pool below.

Stop two of the itinerary: Check into a five-star hot spring hotel, and after a sumptuous dinner, unwind in the soothing hot springs.

Stop three of the event: visitors explored the Yunmen Mountain Scenic Area, ascended the Xiangyun Ladder, passed through the Yunmen Archway, and crossed the glass bridge. Everyone was in high spirits, fully immersed in the mountain-climbing experience. Along the picturesque trails of Yunmen Mountain, Dil employees could be seen everywhere, and the path echoed with bursts of laughter and cheerful chatter.

On the glass bridge, everyone held onto the railings or supported one another, carefully inching forward, while screams and bursts of laughter echoed in their ears, offering a thrilling experience that blended heart-pounding excitement with pure joy.

Chairman Lin Huaqing and his wife accompanied the employees on a tour of all the scenic spots, allowing them to fully experience the warmth of the Deere family.

After lunch, we concluded our two-day, one-night trip and set off to return to Zhuhai.

Through this unique and inspiring tour, everyone was able to relax, unwind, and relieve the stress of work and daily life. The various departments seized this opportunity to strengthen bonds, deepen relationships, and bolster the company’s sense of unity, making the Dier family even warmer and more cohesive. We are confident that, going forward, all colleagues will approach their roles with renewed enthusiasm and dedication, contributing their utmost to the company’s continued growth and prosperity.

Let’s look forward to the next even more exciting event!
