On the morning of April 15, 2017, under bright sunshine and a gentle spring breeze, with lion dances leaping and colorful flags fluttering—symbols of boundless vitality and hope—Zhuhai Deer Bioengineering Co., Ltd. solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony for the “Zhuhai Deer Bio‑Industrial Park” at its base in the Dingjiawan Industrial Zone of Zhuhai City.

After more than a decade of development, Zhuhai Dier Biotechnology has remained steadfast in its commitment to R&D and deep market penetration in the fields of microbial testing instruments and related in vitro diagnostic reagents, establishing itself as a leader in China’s clinical microbiology sector. In line with the company’s strategic plan and the needs of its industrial development, and with strong support from the relevant authorities of Zhuhai City and Jinwan District, the company has decided to invest in the construction of the “Zhuhai Dier Biotechnology Industrial Park” project in the Dingjiawan Industrial Zone.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Lin Huaqing, Chairman of Deer, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that Deer’s more than decade-long journey has paved the way for today’s achievements. The construction of the Zhuhai Deer Biotechnology Industrial Park marks a significant milestone for the company. With a total floor area of 100,000 square meters—40,000 square meters in Phase I, 20,000 square meters in Phase II, and 40,000 square meters in Phase III—the project is expected to take three years to complete. It will provide Deer employees with greater aspirations and boundless opportunities for innovation: First, as a high‑tech biopharmaceutical enterprise, the park’s main building features sky gardens on every floor, while the campus boasts independent staff cafeterias, employee dormitories, badminton courts, basketball courts, and other recreational facilities, complemented by lush greenery, all designed to offer a healthy, comfortable, pleasant, and joyful environment for work, life, and learning. Second, as a cutting‑edge technology company, we will establish a state‑of‑the‑art, highly competitive R&D center, along with a fully equipped quality‑control facility and modern production workshops. Third, Deer aims not only to become a leading player in the microbiology sector but also to emerge as a renowned name in the IVD industry. Moving forward, through independent R&D, technology transfer, and strategic joint ventures, we will transform Deer into a truly modern, integrated corporate group. Accordingly, Deer has imposed stringent requirements on the project’s design, construction, and supervision firms, evaluating their qualifications, expertise, and market reputation, to ensure that, through the concerted efforts of all parties, the project is completed on time and to the highest standards. At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Lin Huaqing, Chairman of Deere, together with senior executives including Ms. Dong Manhong, as well as top representatives from the project’s construction, supervision, and design firms, cut the ribbon and laid the cornerstone for the new campus.
